Durability data - the 'CDD'
The CDD is the “Construction Durability Database”. It’s the only resource of its kind for the UK construction industry.
It provides data on thousands of components and systems, including expected service lives and maintenance. It’s currently based on a 60 year service life model.
The data is used for whole life cost plans, maintenance and asset management strategies. It can also underpin analyses of which components will deliver on chosen life cycle strategies.
This is really valuable information. We can offer access to builders, designers and other consultants who are working on schemes registered with us. Others will need to subscribe.
